ADJUSTMENTS

Chiropractic manipulation, also known as Chiropractic adjustment, targets restricted joints in the spine and extremities. Performing chiropractic manipulation generally consists of applying controlled, sudden force to a specific joint in the spine or extremities with the goal of improving physical function, reducing pain, and modifying symptom presentation.

REHABILITATION

Chiropractic rehabilitation refers to a structured program of corrective exercises designed to restore strength, flexibility, and function following injury or pain.  We utilize rehab alongside chiropractic adjustments to help support long-term healing and prevent future problems.

Our Rehabilitation involves:

  • Targeted stretching to improve flexibility and relieve muscle tension

  • Strengthening exercises to stabilize weak or imbalanced muscle groups

  • Balance and coordination work to enhance stability and prevent re-injury

  • Movement retraining to improve how your body moves during daily activities

SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

CUPPING

Cupping therapy is a form of alternative treatment that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction is thought to increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. It’s often used for musculoskeletal pain, such as back, neck, or shoulder pain.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a manual therapy technique that uses handheld tools (usually made of stainless steel, plastic, or stone) to apply controlled mechanical pressure to soft tissue. The goal is to increase blood flow and modify symptom presentation.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation / Ultrasound

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) involves the use of electrodes placed on the skin to deliver electrical impulses that cause muscles to contract. EMS is used to enhance muscle activation and support recovery.

Therapeutic ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves (typically 1–3 MHz) applied through a probe to penetrate soft tissues. It is used to promote healing, reduce pain, and improve tissue extensibility.
